Uganda’s large youth population largely lives in rural areas and a large percentage of them live below the poverty line. The Ultra-Poor graduation programme contributes to alleviating poverty through this youth-focused initiative. Through this program, we provide assets to young people facing financial hardship and train them in order to improve their livelihoods and achieve their economic and social goals. We also connect them with mainstream development services.
