Sustainable Aquaculture Programme Workshop

Sustainable Aquaculture Programme Workshop

BRAC Myanmar has recently conducted a workshop on sustainable aquaculture on August 26, 2019. It was held in the Shwebo township of the country where the programme participants, who are mainly fish farmers by profession, discussed their experiences, challenges, and knowledge development through the project.

BRAC Myanmar runs this sustainable aquaculture project through 426 fish farmers on nutrition-sensitive fish culture in the country’s Sagaing region. The project, funded by GIZ in partnership with World Fish, started since May 2018, and promotes small-scale aquaculture among fish farmers in the region.
